How Sugar Hurts Your Beauty Routine

Aside from the obvious diet blunder, eating sugary foods before bed and first thing in the morning is bad for your beauty routine, too!

Starting your day with refined sugar – found in danishes, donuts, and sweetened cereals – will make your skin sallow and dehydrated by lunch time! Plus, it’ll set you up for a day of sugar cravings and a major sugar crash later in the day.

Moreover, if you eat sugar before hitting the sack, you’ll most likely wake up with dehydrated skin. I’m not sure which one is worse – ruining your 8 hours of beauty sleep in the morning with a donut, or not even standing a fighting chance with a cookie from the night before!

Your best bet is to avoid sugary, processed foods as much as possible, and all day long, so you won’t have to worry about it affecting your beauty rest!
