Health Tip of the Day: Out of Sight, Out of Mind…and Mouth

Turns out the saying, “out of sight, out of mind” applies to weight loss and healthy eating, too! A recent study among college students (some of the worst eaters out there) found when healthy produce was placed closer to participants, more of the fruit and vegetables were eaten. And when fruit was kept nearby in a clear open bowl, more of it was eaten than when placed in a covered, opaque bowl. Interesting!
