100-Calorie Snacks That Are Actually Satisfying!

Snack time isn’t just for kids! In fact, snacking can help whittle your waistline and keep the weight from coming back, as long as you’re doing it right. That means choosing the right snacks, in the right portions, at the right time of the day. To keep it simple and safe, stick to 100-calorie snacks, twice a day, or one 200-calorie snack once a day.

Here are a few 100-calorie snacks to help you stay energized throughout the day, fire up your metabolism, and keep you full and focused so you’re not ravished by the time your next meal comes around (unlike those tiny little 100-calorie pack snacks)!

1 hard-boiled egg

1 large graham cracker with 1 tsp almond butter or peanut butter

1 small (4″) whole-wheat pita with 1 Tbsp hummus

6 ounces (one container) nonfat, plain Greek yogurt

2 oz sliced turkey breast rolled-up in lettuce in mustard

1/2 baked potato topped with 1 heaping tbsp of Greek yogurt, or light sour cream, and chives

1 cup baby carrots, celery and bell peppers with 2 Tbsp light dressing

1⁄2 cup 1% lowfat cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes and black pepper

1/2 light English muffin with 2 tsp cream cheese and sliced tomatoes

14 raw almonds

1 cheese stick

4 1/2 cups 94% fat free microwave popcorn

1 small piece of fruit

Happy Snacking!
