According to AshleyMadison.com – a dating website for married people on the search for an affair – YES. A survey conducted by the site found that men who cheat are most likely in their 40s, have been married for over 10 years, and have two children over the age of 10.
The site surveyed 11,453 fathers (all of whom have accounts on the dating site) and found that the highest percentage of “would-be cheaters” are in the IT/Engineering field, with over 10% cheaters.
Here are the top 5 occupations with cheating husbands:
IT/Engineer (10.6%)
Financial Industry (8.2%)
Education (6.5%)
Doctors (4.6%)
Lawyers (3.8%)
Women aren’t off the hook, either. The site polled 2,865 of their married female members and found that the typical cheating married woman was in her 30s, married for five years or less and had a daughter under three years old. According to Huffington Post, she is also most likely to be a teacher, a stay-at-home mom, or work in the medical industry.
