Butt-Busting Brownie?

A brownie that doesn’t go straight to your butt? Believe it or not, brownies don’t have to be off-limits when you’re trying to lose weight. In fact, if you bake them right, you can actually keep fat from being absorbed into your bottom, says Dr. Oz.

His recipe for the Butt-Busting Brownie contains cayenne, which Dr. Oz says revs up your metabolism to get the body moving, and cinnamon which helps process sugar intake. These ingredients work together to help fat from going straight to your booty.

Ingredients:
1 cup raw cacao powder
1/4 tsp cayenne
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup low fat milk
1 cup organic raisins
1 cup oats

Directions:
In a food processor purée the cacao, cayenne, cinnamon, milk and raisins until a smooth paste forms. Add the oats to the food processor and quickly pulse to incorporate them. Transfer the mix into a square or rectangular container lined cross wise with wax paper. Press down to form the ‘brownie’ base. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares before serving. Enjoy!

The recipe appears to be from Ulli Stachel, but it’s Dr. Oz approved and recommended! If you bake the brownies in an 8 x 8 pan, cut into 16, small 2-inch squares, it comes to about 55 calories per brownie. It may not be the best brownie ever, but at least it’s guilt-free and bottom friendly!
