Forget the cinnamon on top: Cinnabon is replacing its cinnamon glaze with tomato and cheese!
Cinnabon has introduced its latest creation: The Pizzabon! That’s right, the infamous sweet treat is going savory. Using the same Cinnabon bun, but swapping the icing for melted mozzarella, tomato sauce, and pepperoni, the Pizzabon doesn’t exactly sound appetizing, but as long as there’s no cross-contamination, who knows!?
According an article in the Atlanta Journal-Consitution, which broke the news, the 27-year-old company is looking to diversify, catch up with the times, and offer enough variety to combat “lulls in business during the day when customers go to other restaurants for lunch or dinner.”
The Pizzabon is making it debut at the Cinnabon at Atlanta’s Cumberland Mall, along with other new menu items like cupcakes and breakfast sandwiches. Stop by Saturday from 11am to 2pm to give this new creation a try!
