Elizabeth Banks always looks amazing; she looks good in anything and everything, no matter the role she’s playing or event she’s attending! She may be blessed with great genes, but the blonde bombshell works hard for her body, too, because it’s not all about being thin; it’s about being healthy.
And you certainly don’t get a body like that with a little yoga here and there. Her personal trainer, Joselynne Boschen of Alpha Sport, shared her stay-fit secrets with Shape Magazine, revealing a routine that’s focused on variety and intensity.
“It’s important to change it up daily. There is nothing more boring to me—or Elizabeth—than the same thing over and over. If you can take it outside and combine your workouts with things like hiking, even better!” she says.
Banks trains three days a week for an hour at a time, focusing on functional agility training for a mix of cardio, free weights, medicine balls, plyometrics, and TRX training. Boschen admits the workouts aren’t easy, but at least it’s different every time!
“Elizabeth is clearly genetically blessed, and she’s got the most awesome energy. She loves to work out!” Boschen says. “Fitness is her lifestyle. It makes things easier to maintain when you stay on top of exercising and just being healthy like she does.”
