I Love Food: Bunny Cupcakes!

This week’s I Love Food post is once again Pinterest-inspired. Usually the pictures I use come from things I eat out at a restaurant, but this is something I made personally.

All you have to do is create the cupcake itself, and ice it as you see fit. You then get white and pink melting chocolate, I get them from a crafts store near me.

You first melt the white chocolate and pour oval, flat shapes like the ones you see above onto wax paper. You are essentially trying to make a rabbit’s foot, so try to go with that image. Then, you take the pink melted chocolate and dabble a little in the center as well as use a toothpick to make the dotted “toes.”

You let those little lucky feet harden in the refrigerator as you make the tail. What you will need for the tail are small marshmallows and coconut. I used coconut to make the tail look fluffy, but I am sure you can use whatever you want.

Wet the marshmallow to create a stickyness so the coconut can adhere to it. You dip the marshmallow in the coconut, and plop it on one end of the cupcake. You plop the hardened feet onto the other end.

And badda-bing, badda-boom you have a little bunny in your kitchen room. They were a hit on Easter and could be a hit all year round… if you really love bunnies!
