This column is going up late. I had a paper due today on Biological Depression and I have been researching and writing all day, but I have exactly 10 weeks left till I finish my degree and then I will have a Bachelors in Psychology. First hurdle jumped. 70 more days and the 120th day of this column.
50 days, there is something, again, unique about the number 50. We tend to honor people on their 50th birthdays for surviving and for their 50th wedding anniversary, because that, in these days, is a major accomplishment. Getting to the number 50 says that you have persevered and worked hard. You may not have made your ultimate goal, but at 50, there is very little chance of backing down.
Today’s column is short and sweet as I am hungry and tired. Here’s to us for moving forward and thanks to God for His grace that sustains us in our work. And here’s to you. My friends, that I may never meet, that read these words and just by your reading, keep me moving.
