Today we were going to discuss physical health, and in some ways we still are. The physical health being discussed is my own.
For the last few weeks I have been having problems with sleep. I used to wake up and be awake. Now I wake up and feeling dragged out and listless. If I go back to sleep it is three more hours before I really wake up a second time, which is making me asleep for 11 hours. This is beginning to be a problem as there is much I have to do in the morning. Including this column.
Then there are nights I just don’t sleep at all and have to use melatonin or Zzzquil to get me to sleep. This is also a problem as the next I literally feel sick. Today I didn’t get up until nine, but I went to bed at ten last night, the doctor drew blood yesterday and we’ll see. For now I am in a situation that along with keeping up the changes in the food I consume I am now exploring the world of sleep very closely. A new adventure begins.
