Yesterday I reported that I was ill and gave ideas on how to put your created team into action. Today I want o go on with the exactly what happened yesterday.
I was ill yesterday and still do not feel so good today. I did ask for help from three of the people that are a huge part of my team. The first was my doctor the second was my pastor and the third was my therapist. Each is playing an active part in helping me get over whatever this is.
My doctor is working with me to tweak and or eliminate some of the medications I have to take. I am living on the verge of exhaustion constantly and though this hasn’t happened before, it is going on now. So the medications are suspect here. The change needs to be made one at a time to see if any or all are responsible.
I contacted my pastor for spiritual support. He gave me encouragement and prayer and challenged me in a new way to look at the Bible and prayer. All of which I will put into practice today. He also extends the hand of friendship and love both which are I incredible gifts.
My therapist listened to my symptoms and we tried to analyze them down to their source, we didn’t get very far with that, but we did get pretty far in other areas of the way I think which could help relieve some pressure and maybe help the symptoms.
Because being as tired as I feel is not natural and not necessarily a physical problem alone, it was vital to get all three parts of the team into action, physical mental and spiritual. I also know that all three of these men care about me, and I consider them friends. The relationships involve significant levels of trust, and though I am writing a little clinically about the way things went yesterday, that is for the benefit of this space and for you. But I also have the utmost respect and love for each of these guys. And am very grateful for all they have done. I hope, one day, to be able to love each of them as they have shown me love.
Speaking of love, I think tomorrow we will take a look at that word. Love is a word that is thrown round a lot. Everything from “I love apple pie,” to I love you please marry me” one word that has many different meanings. It may be good to take a look at what we mean when we use the word love, and how love can apply to how we view ourselves and our challenges.
