Instead of turning down Justin Timberlake or other swimsuit baring activities this summer, flatter your figure with the right swimsuits for your body type! The right swimsuit for your body can do wonders for your body and confidence!
If you’re small on top, look for tops with a touch of padding or an under wire for a little extra enhancement! Padded, triangle tops work wonders! Ruffles, stripes, and patterns add volume to create a curvier figure, so pair that with a solid bottom to help balance things out. If you aren’t looking to enhance your bust, go for a bandeau top. It might not give you instant cleavage, but they are perfect for avoiding tan lines, and so cute!

If you’re thin and want to add curves, look for a ruffles, stripes, and patters to add curves on top and bottom! Avoid solids, bandeau tops, and one-pieces, which will only elongate your body. Boy shorts accentuate your hips, and are perfect for those looking to add curves on the bottom!
This Juicy Couture lacy triangle top & fuffle rollover bottom is perfect for adding curvy to a tiny frame! Buy the set, or top or bottom for wherever you want to add curves.
If you’re pear-shaped, or want to minimize your bottom, you want the focus to be on your upper body. That means no boy shorts (which widen the hips) and no ruffles or prints on the bottom. Instead, go for a dark, solid bottom, and bright colors, ruffles, and prints on top. Triangle tops or v-neck one-pieces also work wonders, drawing the eye upward to your best assets.
This one piece elongates your body and gives you a little extra coverage where you want it. The ruching conceals a tummy if you have one, and the v-neck draws the eye upward to flaunt your shoulders and chest! (Target.com)
If you’re curvy, or looking for extra tummy control, try a tankini, monokini, or one-piece. One-pieces aren’t just for your grandmother anymore! Look for one with flattering rouching, a sexy deep v-neck, or crazy cutouts. Keep it a solid color to look extra-lean!
