Is Taylor Swift is moving too fast with Conor Kennedy?
Since meeting the 18-year-old Kennedy in July, the six-time Grammy winner, 22, has purchased a Cape Cod home across the street from her new boyfriend and has rearranged her schedule to spend as much time with him as possible. On weekends, she uses her private jet to fly to Massachusetts to be with him. Pals are concerned she’s repeating a troubling relationship pattern. After all, weeks after her first date with Jake Gyllenhaal, 31, in 2010, she joined his family for Thanksgiving dinner. A month later, he dumped her — and she’s been single ever since.
“She’s always rushing into love,” says a Swift pal. “We all wonder why she can’t take it slow.” Says another source, “She has a habit of smothering guys and pushing them away.” But even if things don’t work out, Swift will have plenty of lyrical inspiration. Says the friend, “No matter what happens, heartbreak always sells.”
Britney Spears rethinks walking the aisle with Trawick
Britney Spears isn’t convinced that the third time’s the marital charm. Eight months after accepting Jason Trawick’s proposal, she continues to delay her wedding day. Originally set to marry in Hawaii this summer, the X Factor judge “complained she was too busy,” a source tells Hot Stuff. Now Trawick, 40, is pushing for a big December bash, and Spears isn’t having any of it. “She won’t even set a date,” says a second source. “She’s dragging her feet.” Why the change of heart? The singer, 30 — wed to Jason Alexander for 55 hours in 2004 and Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2006 — “sometimes feels Jason’s more of a mentor than a husband,” says an insider. (A Spears pal counters that the pair look forward to planning the nuptials.) Plus, a friend adds, she isn’t sure what kind of affair to throw. “She doesn’t know what a third wedding looks like. Anything lavish would be embarrassing.”
JENNIFER ANISTON: Showing Off Her Sparkler!
Size doesn’t matter to Jennifer Aniston. The actress, 43, has been proudly flaunting the understated ring her fiancé, Justin Theroux, designed and proposed with on August 10. “She’s been very happy and girlie about it,” explains an insider on the Wilmington, North Carolina, set of Aniston’s film We’re the Millers. The bling is “pretty,” adds the insider, “but not that huge.” Not that low-maintenance Aniston needs a big bauble as proof of the actor-screenwriter’s love: She believes their 16-month relationship is blessed by the stars! “Jen is really into astrology,” says a second pal. “Justin is a Leo, which she thinks is a good match for her.” For Aniston, an independent Aquarius, the loyal Leo, 41, “is the rock she needs in her life,” adds the friend. Her risk-loving Sagittarius ex-husband, Brad Pitt, “did not match with her in that sense.”
Carly Rae’s Dude Drama
“He’s an amazing guy,” Carly Rae Jepsen, 26, gushed to Us in May about boyfriend of one year Jordi Ashworth, an architecture student who inspired her hit, “Call Me Maybe.” But on August 18, it was musician Matthew Koma proudly watching from backstage as the pop singer performed at the Summer MixTape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania. “Carly broke up with Jordi in June because her schedule got crazy,” says as source. Soon after, Redfoo from LMFAO introduced Jepsen to her new guy. Adds the source, “She really likes him!”

Bouncing back! Five months after her split from Peter Facinelli, Jennie Garth is getting serious with L.A. photographer Noah Abrams. “She was seeing a few guys, but now she’s only dating Noah,” says a source of the star, 40, and Abrams, who held hands at the ArcLight Cinemas in L.A. August 14. Though she was off the market for 16 years, the newly slimmed-down Garth has quickly regained her confidence. “She wasn’t sure if men were going to find her attractive. But she got asked out a lot!”
