(PCM) Usually when thinking about a quiet, romantic candlelit dinner low-cost, budget chain Waffle House is not the first place to come to mind. Think again! Waffle House is now looking to “smother” and “cover” their patrons with love for Valentine’s Day and are offering reservations for a candlelit dinner for two!
I have to say we are literally in “love” with their pecan waffles, so perhaps this is not such a bad idea. Apparently, Waffle House has been offering up this special Valentine’s Day promotion for several years, so I can’t believe we are just learning about this now!
They are calling the event “It’s a Waffle House Love Story” and those looking to take their special someone out for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner on a limited budget can call a participating restaurant and make a reservation for the candlelit dinner. Currently, Waffle House locations in 18 states are taking part in the promotion, you can view the full list here! They even promise to bring out the fancy table cloths and heart-shaped place mats.
Waffle House urges those interested to book early because space will be very limited! This is such a delightfully hokey idea, we might just have to give it a try!
