When you get out of the shower, do you keep your hair wrapped in the towel until you’re ready to blow dry it? Or do you let it out of the towel so it can air dry a bit before you have at it? One is better than the other, and the answer may surprise you!
A lot of women think it’s best to let the hair air dry as much as possible before blow drying it, for the sake of your hair anyway. Less heat applied means less damage and frizz, right? Wrong! Your best bet is to keep your hair wrapped in a towel turban up until the moment you’re ready to start blow drying. The towel keeps your hair from drying so much that frizz sets in. It also protects your hair from the humidity in the bathroom. If you can, blow dry it in a different room to avoid all that extra steam.
Give it a try!
