This week’s I LOVE FOOD feature is on a Long Island special. Croxley’s Ale House is in three locations in New York: Farmingdale, Rockville Centre, and Franklin Square. This hot spot has some dynamite buffalo wings, and they are cheap to boot.
On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays Croxley’s has 10 cent wings. The order comes with fifteen wings, but they go quickly and cost less than one gallon of gas. On Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 5 PM the price doubles to 20 cents. No matter what day of the week you go, you are most likely guaranteed delicious wings for a reasonable price.
And, if you don’t like the Buffalo flavor – don’t fret! They also have honey BBQ wings available too. Plus, the locations are sports bars where people can grab a drink and watch a game. It was very reminiscent of a modern day “Cheers.” Where everybody knows your name, and enjoys a good buffalo wing.
