(PCM) It appears that men are finally learning that they can do more with their hair than simple buzz cuts or long straggly locks. Gone are the days of men just simply pulling their hair back in a simple pony-tail, what started with the uber hipster ManBun has now morphed into the new men’s hair phenomenon called the ManBraid.
While still a bit on the hipster side, the men have begun to french-braid their hair creating one of the most popular styles on Instagram with the #ManBraid style. Men are loving it because it provides them with both convenience and volume, while being just edgy enough, but not over the top!
Men are even beginning to get incredibly creative with the type of braids they are putting in their hair. Some are opting to go with a more classic long braid, while others are more experimental testing out styles such as the waterfall, french or other more technical styles. Many are posting their results and style favorites on social media and it has been amazing to watch the popularity of the style rise.
We think the ManBraid is a lot more versatile than say the “glitter beard”… what do you say ladies? #ManBraids yes or no? We are just glad the ManBun is out of here for the time being, however something tells us it will be back!
