Yesterday went well. I did grab a fast food breakfast, but not the whole thing, just the sandwich. I think I will try the oatmeal when I am on the run next. Lunch was the usual Bumble Bee Lunch Kite and Dinner was out, I got a burger with fires and a diet coke. No trouble at the movie as I didn’t get anything to eat there and I did not snack at all. That is one really big change in me, I am not eating anything between meals, I don’t buy candy bars anymore or little snack pies or cakes. I like the look of them but I don’t have the compulsive desire to eat them.
I’d like to recommend a book today. Its title is “Wisdom From The Batcave,” and it was written by Cary Friedman. Mr. Friedman is a Rabbi and he has uses The Batman in eighteen chapters to show us how to live a better more fulfilling life. It’s about realizing that goals are hard work, that we should value ourselves, and think less of what others think of us and living a principled life is a good choice. Though he is a Rabbi, he is not advocating a religion he is advocating a practical and solid way of living. The book was written several years ago and is not a tie in to the recent movie.
There is much to do this week end so I am going to be taking cautious steps. I have a major paper to write as the wrap up for my educational psychology course as well chores and my folks 62nd Anniversary, all in all, not really bad couple of days, and full of good things. The only real issue is not shoving food in my mouth because of the foods convenience.
I hope your week end is great and I will see you Monday.
