(PCM) For fans of both Taco Bell and KFC the news that Taco Bell has unveiled a new ‘Crispy Chicken’ taco shell is a dream come true as their two favorites are now gloriously paired together for the very first time. Yum Brands is the parent company of both Taco Bell and KFC, so it was truly only a matter of time before someone would come up with the idea to pair some of their best-sellers together.
The new ‘Crispy Chicken’ taco shell is currently still in the test marketing phase and is being called a ‘Naked Crispy Chicken Taco’ and sells retails for about $2.49 and $2.99 depending on the store. The ‘Naked Crispy Chicken Taco’ a breaded white meat chicken shell filled with lettuce, tomatoes and shredded cheese, and topped with avocado ranch sauce. Definitely sounds like an interesting combination!
The new ‘Naked Crispy Chicken Taco’ are currently only available at select California locations for the test marketing, but we could see a nationwide roll-out in the near future if they are deemed a success.
