It’s not easy being in the public eye, especially when you’re constantly being scrutinized for your body! Whether it’s for being “too thin,” “too heavy,” or even “too muscular,” Hollywood’s women – both young and old – have to deal with being under the microscope at all times. And sometimes, it can lead to paranoia, self esteem issues, and even a few bad decisions.
Tara Reid admits there are a ”million things” she could’ve done differently in her past, but says she’s learned from those decisions (she had liposuction on her stomach and breast augmentation six years ago, plus corrective surgeries).
In fact, she says she still gets paranoid when people talk about her body. She said,
“I think when people are so hard on you, you start getting hard on yourself. You start getting a little paranoid. But you have to back off to a certain degree. What can you really change? Yes, there are a million things you would say you’d do different but you learn from those life lessons. That defines you as a character.”
And that means she doesn’t necessarily regret those experiences and bad decisions she made.
“Perhaps I haven’t made the best decisions in the past, but at the time you don’t know any different. As you get older you can look back and say, ‘Okay, I’m gonna learn from that experienced and grown from a lot of the experiences I’ve been through.'”
