(PCM) It takes a very special type of person to be able to face the terrifying ordeal of a double mastectomy surgery with the same attitude and spirit as patient, OB/Gyn doctor, and mother of two Deborah Cohan.
Cohan was not going to let her diagnosis bring her down, so right before her surgery she did something totally off the wall. She held a dance party with her medical team at the Mt. Zion Hospital in San Francisco, CA.
The incredible six minute video shows Cohan and the team dancing their hearts out to Beyonce’s “Get Me Bodied”, and let me tell you, these ladies have some serious moves! Let’s send them to “America’s Next Best Dance Crew”…seriously!
Cohan has also put in a request that her friends and family upload videos of themselves dancing to the song, so that she can watch them and use the positive vibes to assist her with the healing and recovery process.
