Having trouble quitting smoking? It’s time to bring on your secret weapon: fruit!
Recently published research in the Oxford University Press found that smokers who consumed high amounts of fruits and veggies were more likely to quit smoking than those who consumed little to no produce.
In fact, people who ate the most fruits and vegetables were 3 times more likely to have been successful at quitting at the 30-day follow-up than those who ate the least.
Looks like an apple a day really can keep the doctor away!
