This week’s I LOVE FOOD post is a heart attack in a shoe string-shaped potato. Even writing the title for this piece I thought, “wow… people probably think I will die by the time I am 30.”
I went to a restaurant in Hoboken, NJ that served up this sensational combination. When my friend said we will get the spicy Ranch fries (her own version of what this dish is called) I just thought, alright that is probably something I won’t be hungry for as I didn’t understand what she meant.
About 15 minutes later, not only did I understood what she meant, but I loved what she meant. The fries come with ranch powder seasoning, melted blue cheese, and buffalo sauce.
I might have to stop writing this blog and go out and get some more for myself as I ate almost an entire basket. I personally love thinner fries as they are so much easier to consume. Or, they are easier to consume more of them without feeling guilty.
The warmness of the melted cheese makes it heavenly. You get the crunch of the fry, the bite of the powdering, the smoothness and warmth of the cheese, and then the kick of buffalo sauce and you are in Sunday Funday blitz – I mean bliss!
