(PCM) Over 500 curvy women came together on Saturday, June 20th to celebrate the first-ever theCURVYcon. Founded by digital sensations, CeCe Olisa of Plus Size Princess and Chastity Garner of GarnerStyle, who sold the clothes out of their closets for seed money, the day-long event brought plus size brands, bloggers, fashionistas-alike together to chat, shop and embrace their curves.
The day long event included workshops discussing style, health, wellness, sex, love and confidence by featured panelists such as Grammy Nominated Singer – Kierra Sheard and notable bloggers Nadia Abouhlson, Gabi Gregg of Gabi Fresh, Sarah Conley of Styleit, Kelsey Miller of Refinery29 and more. Also, there was a flash runway show featuring fierce plus models Ashley Graham and Victoria Lee. The event closed with the keynote address from Glee Actress and Dancing With Stars Winner Amber Riley. Yes CURVY GIRLS rocked this weekend!!!!
