Tori Spelling Throws Backyard Birthday Tea Party For Stella’s 4th

As if from a page from her new book, celebraTORI, Tori Spelling threw a special backyard tea party for her daughter Stella’s 4th birthday. She shares the details and photos at her website EdiTORIal(www.ToriSpelling.com).

Stella had strict orders… She wanted her tea party to be all hot pink and purple with pops of yellow and Tori delivered from the perfect party dress to a not to believe cake designed by Hansens’s who have been making Tori’s cakes since she was one. Tori shares that she and Stella studied Pinterest for inspiration for the whimsical cake design.

ToriSpelling.com shows an album of photos from the party which was held in the McDermott’s backyard and featured furniture and décor available at their homey eclectic shop, invenTORI. Fans of Tori and Dean’s “Home Sweet Hollywood” will be excited to see the antique farm table that seats 20 table she had to have from the antiques fair in Texas last year make its debut as the main seating area. (How did they ever get that home?)

The Gourmet Dad himself, (Daddy Dean) made all of the tea sandwiches. Stella especially liked the crown shaped ones made with a crown cookie cutter.

Brother and sister joined right in the spirit of the tea party, Liam wore seersucker and a silk tie while baby Hattie matched the requested color scheme in a canary yellow frock with pink accents.

In addition to the princesses and other party games, Stella wanted to do “crafting” as an activity! For the full story and all of the photos, and all of the details of every flower, centerpiece and edibles, visit torispelling.com.

How do you plan your children’s parties? Do they help with the details – picking out the theme, the colors, the cake inspiration from Pinterest?
